No prerequisites to enroll in this course, need not have any experience, has no minimum age for participation, nor is it necessary to have experience at sea to take it. However, the intention of the IMO was to provide an educational tool for those crew members on board ships of the merchant marine to command and control, in order to develop and implement the skills acquired during the implementation of the gift of command.
